About this notice

This notice explains how Jacsee Enterprise (JM0990415-W), trading as C7 Smoothies, collects and handles your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. It applies to c7smoothies.com and to orders placed through it.

Who is responsible for your data

Jacsee Enterprise (JM0990415-W), trading as C7 Smoothies, is the data user. Our registered address, email address and WhatsApp number are all on the contact page — use any of them for a question, an access request or a complaint about your personal data.

What we collect

We collect only what an order needs. When you check out we collect:

  • Your name, email address and contact number
  • Your delivery address, including postcode
  • Any delivery instructions you choose to add
  • Your chosen delivery date and time window
  • The items you ordered and what you paid

If you contact us through the enquiry or wholesale forms we collect the name, email, contact number and message you provide. If you create an account after ordering, we store a password that is hashed and never readable by us. We do not collect payment card or online banking details at any point — those are entered on the payment provider’s own page and never reach our systems.

Why we collect it, and whether it is obligatory

We use your data to produce and deliver your order, to contact you about it, to let our delivery rider reach you, to answer enquiries, and to keep the accounting records the law requires. Supplying the contact and address data at checkout is obligatory: without it we cannot make or deliver an order. Delivery instructions and an account password are optional.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We disclose it only to the parties needed to complete your order:

  • Our payment provider, Billplz, to take and confirm payment
  • Our email provider, to send your order confirmation
  • The delivery rider assigned to your order, who receives your name, address, contact number and any delivery instructions
  • Our hosting and database providers, who store the data on our behalf
  • Regulators, auditors or law enforcement where we are legally required to disclose

Where it is stored, and for how long

Your data is stored on servers operated by our hosting providers, which may be located outside Malaysia. We keep order records for as long as we must for tax and accounting purposes, and enquiry messages only for as long as needed to deal with them. When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, we delete it.

Keeping it safe

Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to make and deliver orders, and every staff action on an order is recorded. Passwords are stored only as a hash. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit.

Your rights under the PDPA

You may, at any time:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
  • Ask us to limit how we process your data
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave, such as for marketing
  • Complain to us, or to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner

Use the email address on our contact page to exercise any of these. We may need to confirm your identity first, and a data access request may attract the fee the PDPA allows. Withdrawing consent does not affect an order already in progress, and may mean we can no longer deliver it.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in if you create an account, and one for staff signing in to our own dashboard. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser’s storage and is never sent to us until you place an order.

Children

This site is not intended for children. You must be 18 or over to place an order, and deliveries must be received by an adult aged 18 or over.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. Any change takes effect when it is published on this page, and we will say what changed if the change is material.
